Event security
Every event is unique, and is the fruit of many hours of preparative work to ensure that everything goes smoothly - and that the organiser is satisfied. Carats has demonstrated its professionalism providing security for up to 20,000-strong crowds. Carats’s role is divided into numerous parts :
Event analysis
Carat draws up a plan for general security that is submitted to the client.In this document are included :
Type of event, origin and identity of individuals invited, event location, filtering method and pre-event access to site.
Once this is agreed, a list of recommendations is drawn up
Organisation of a preliminary security meeting.
Carats is an integral part of the general organisation. As such, we take part in every preliminary security meeting.24h ou 48h plan put into action
Carats, in collaboration with the stewards, ensures the perimeter integrity, transmits security messages and resolves any hitches or problems.Security Coordination
The Carats team uses its professionalism to ensure the event takes place in the best possible conditions. We coordinate and liaise with the official security-services, the fire-brigade and the prefectoral Crisis Cell.Post-mission debriefing and report
Casebook : during the 2007 French presidential election, one of the largest French political parties used Carats to ensure the security at its political-meetings.Carats guaranteed the safety at all the meetings and of all the participants – our role was to protect the principal location and its perimeters, as well as all the politicians present.
With more than 20,000 spectators present – including the First Lady of France, 12 governments ministers and numerous celebrities – our role was essential. Carats, working in unison with the official security services, ensured the perimeter-integrity and coordinated the protection plan.
This tightcollaboration demonstrated its value as Carats helped to uncover, diffuse and manage several potentially serious incidents.
